Michael Gordon, President and Founder
Michael Gordon founded CC Pace in 1980 and remains a hands-on principal of this business and information technology consulting firm. Mike’s vision has been to merge strong domain knowledge in specific market niches with specialized technology and methodology expertise, delivered through a team of employees committed to serving customers with the highest quality and integrity. This approach has earned our clients' trust and confidence, and resulted in long-standing relationships with Fortune 100 firms to community players throughout the country over the past 3 decades.

Mike is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and he has led numerous strategy development, business process redesign and technology projects during his career. In addition to being President of CC Pace, he is a founding and active Corporate Advisory Board member for SOME (So Others Might Eat). Mike graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce with a dual-major in Management Information Systems and Marketing.

Philippa Fewell, Managing Director, Enterprise Solutions
Philippa (Phil) Fewell has had a long-tenured, progressive consulting career leading to her current position as Managing Director of CC Pace’s Enterprise Solutions Group. The Enterprise Solutions practice focuses on application development services, training and coaching in Lean and Agile Methods. Phil has over twenty-nine years of managing and delivering complex financial and technology projects for both Fortune 500 and startups. She has an exceptional track record of managing stakeholder’s at all organizational levels, with emphasis on establishing cultures of trust, and building high-performance teams. Phil has practiced Agile Methods with development teams for the last twelve years, is a certified ScrumMaster and regularly speaks on the topic of Agile benefits and practices.  She works continuously with Agile Industry Leaders sharing ideas and thoughts on improving agile training and adoption practices. She is recognized for her in-depth knowledge and practical experience in Agile, bringing hands-on, real-world techniques to the teams she works with. Phil earned a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Business from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Craig Hughes, Managing Director, Financial Services
Craig Hughes has three decades of high-level experience in innovatively putting technology to work for the financial services industry. He has well established expertise in strategic planning and technology implementation, including development of short- and long-term technology strategies;, reviews of current systems, product selection, and custom software development, implementation, and integration. A recognized leader in mortgage consulting, Craig has had extensive responsibility for business development and strategic planning, client relations, and operational management throughout changing industry cycles. He specializes in advising clients on how to support their strategic business directions through process improvements and the application of technology. Craig has spoken on technology themes at numerous financial industry conferences, and has published several articles for Mortgage Banking and other industry periodicals.

Kuryan Thomas, Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Kuryan Thomas has over 25 years experience in the software industry. He oversees corporate technology strategy for CC Pace, leads technology delivery management for CC Pace's Enterprise Solutions Business Unit, and manages security and systems for CC Pace's internal information services. His experience ranges across numerical computing, operating system internals, and enterprise-scale mission-critical business systems. He has a proven track record in the delivery of high performance business computing systems involving high transaction volume, large data sets, and complex business logic. Kuryan has led technology assessment, M&A technology due diligence, system selection, and enterprise architecture strategy projects. His experience in business-value-centric software delivery methodologies spans 20 years, and in 2000 he was an early adopter of the Extreme Programming variant of agile methodology. He helped lead the effort to introduce agile software delivery to CC Pace and participates in the day-to-day activities of agile software development projects, mentoring his team on agile leadership, test-driven design, continuous integration, and advanced software architectures. Kuryan holds a PhD in condensed matter physics from Virginia Tech.
